About Our Driveway Cleaning

Every driveway surface picks up dirt, moss, algae and general grime over time, and jet washing needs the pressure and technique matched to the material, since block paving, tarmac, resin and concrete all respond differently and going in too hard can damage joints or strip a finish. We re-sand block paving joints with kiln-dried sand once clean and dry, and can apply a sealant afterwards to protect the surface and slow down how quickly moss and staining come back.

Why Choose Us

We're a local, hands-on team rather than a national franchise, so you're getting someone who takes the time to set the right pressure for your particular surface instead of running the same wash over everything.

We're happy to advise honestly on whether a clean and reseal will do the job or whether repair work is really what's needed.

What Affects the Price

  • Size of the area to be cleaned
  • Type of surface, block paving, tarmac, resin or concrete
  • Amount of moss, algae or staining present
  • Whether re-sanding of block paving joints is required
  • Whether sealing is included after cleaning

Common Questions

Will jet washing damage my driveway?

Not if the pressure and method are matched to the surface. Resin and block paving in particular need lower pressure and the right technique so joints and finishes aren't stripped out, which is why we assess the surface before starting rather than using one setting for everything.

How often should a driveway be cleaned?

It depends on the surface, location and how shaded the drive is. A drive that sits in shade or under trees will need cleaning more often than one that gets full sun, since moss and algae take hold faster where it stays damp.

Do you reseal after cleaning?

We can, where it suits the surface. Sealing after a clean helps protect the surface and can slow down how quickly dirt, moss and staining reappear, though it's not always necessary depending on the material and condition of the drive.
